Darkness Everywhere

"The Next Scream You Hear May Be Your Own"

I think this quote is pretty obvious that my interest in movies are based on horror. Maybe it is because of the feeling I get after coming to an awful realization or experiencing a deeply unpleasant occurrence, this includes images or situation to prompt reaction in their audience. I don't see a reason why people are afraid or dislike of horror film tho.

Let's go back in time!

CONJURING! Forced or willingly, by chance we all have definitely watched this movie. It is the first installment in The Conjuring series. It was directed by James Wan and released on the 15th of July 2013. I remember watching this movie in the theater with my friends and all I can say is I had the worst experience in watching the movie. Not because the movie was bad but my friends were making a big havoc in the movies that I actually had to babysit them, I felt like a mother with 5 teenage kids, I regretted terribly.

But overall the movie was mind blowing, I actually felt the rush, my hands were sweating, my heart beat was pumping fast and I did not dare to miss out a single scene from the movie, that's how interesting it was.  They say that horror film will actually give you sleepless nights and anxiety problem, but so far I did not have any kind of problem, THANK GOD to that.

There are other horror based movie such as The Cabin in the Woods, Insidious, and latest movies such as The Nun, A Quiet Place and Halloween.

In general, I think it is a most common reason in where people who love watching horror film are usually not afraid but excited by the movie and they are actually willing to endure the terror in order to enjoy a euphoric sense of relief at the end. People may actually enjoy being scared, not just relief when the threat is removed. In other words, horror movie viewers are actually happy to be unhappy.

I actually make short clips and take pictures in places that are said to be haunted,as my love for horror are beyond limitation. Here are some;

Who knows, maybe someday you might see my movies screening in the theaters. As the authors put in,
 "the most pleasant moments of a particular event may also be the most fearful"
